- We've released an updated build of Kiosk Browser (2.9.7 build 417) which fixes remote management connectivity issues. It will be available via Google Play as well as the normal update channel. For customers with provisioned devices you can update your devices via remote management. We'll be working on releasing a Kiosk Launcher build first thing tomorrow. 2026-05-20 15:20 UTC
- We are currently experiencing an issue with devices being unable to communicate with remote management. We have deployed a temporary workaround which will update the online status for devices that are able to reach our configuration api, so devices should start to appear as online.
The cause relates to the rotation of a security key which has invalidated local credentials on Kiosk Browser & Kiosk Launcher installations.
Unfortunately, we do expect a full fix to require a Kiosk Browser & Kiosk Launcher update on the device, however, as long as your devices are Provisioned, this can be performed remotely.
We will update this announcement again on 2026-05-21 as we will be working overnight to restore as many services as possible.
